24/7 Emergency Tree Removal & Storm Damage Response
When a Tree Falls, We Answer the Phone
Pacific Northwest storms don’t wait for business hours. When a tree crashes through your roof at 2 AM, lands on your car, or blocks your driveway — you need someone who picks up the phone and shows up fast.
We provide 24-hour emergency tree service across Snohomish County and surrounding areas. Call us anytime — day or night, weekends and holidays.
Emergency Situations We Handle
Fallen Trees on Structures
Tree on your house, garage, shop, or fence? We work with you and your insurance company to remove the tree safely, minimize additional damage, and secure the structure.
Trees on Vehicles
Whether it’s in your driveway or on the street, we’ll get the tree off your vehicle and clear the area.
Trees Blocking Roads & Driveways
Can’t get in or out? We prioritize access — getting your driveway or private road cleared so you’re not trapped.
Hanging/Suspended Trees
A tree that’s partially fallen and caught in another tree is extremely dangerous — it can release without warning. Don’t try to deal with this yourself. This is a job for professionals with rigging experience.
Cracked or Split Trees
A tree that’s cracked but still standing after a storm is a ticking time bomb. We assess and either remove it or make it safe.
Uprooted Trees
Trees with exposed root balls can shift and fall further. We remove them completely and deal with the root ball.
Power Line Situations
If a tree is on or near power lines, call Snohomish PUD first (425-783-1001) to de-energize the line. Once the line is safe, we handle the tree. Never approach a tree touching power lines yourself.
What to Do When a Tree Falls (Step by Step)
1. Get everyone away from the tree. Don’t go near it, especially if power lines are involved.
2. Call 911 if anyone is injured or a gas line is damaged.
3. Call your power company if lines are down or involved (Snohomish PUD: 425-783-1001).
4. Call us at (425) 377-6012. We’ll talk through the situation and dispatch a crew.
5. Take photos from a safe distance for your insurance claim.
6. Contact your insurance company to open a claim. Most homeowner policies cover storm damage tree removal.
How We Handle Emergency Calls
When you call, here’s what happens:
- We answer. If we’re on another emergency, we’ll call you back within 30 minutes.
- We assess over the phone — is anyone in danger? Is the structure compromised? Is there a power line issue?
- We dispatch — for true emergencies (tree on house, blocked access, safety hazard), we aim to have a crew on-site as quickly as possible, often within hours.
- We make it safe first — sometimes that means removing the immediate hazard and coming back for full cleanup. Safety first, always.
- We work with your insurance — we document the damage, provide detailed invoices, and can communicate directly with your adjuster if needed.
Insurance & Storm Damage
Good news: Most homeowner insurance policies cover tree removal when a tree falls on a structure, vehicle, or blocks access to your home. This includes the removal, cleanup, and often stump grinding.
What insurance typically covers:
- Tree removal when it hits a structure (house, garage, fence)
- Debris cleanup
- Damage repair costs (separate from our work)
What insurance may NOT cover:
- Removing a tree that fell but didn’t hit anything
- Preventive removal of a damaged tree that hasn’t fallen yet
We’re not insurance experts, but we’ve worked with hundreds of insurance claims. We’ll provide everything your adjuster needs — photos, documentation, itemized invoices.
Storm Season Preparedness
The best emergency is the one that doesn’t happen. Before storm season (fall/winter in Western WA):
- Look up. Any dead branches hanging over your house? Get them removed before a storm does it for you.
- Check for leaners. Trees leaning toward structures are the #1 source of storm damage claims.
- Dead trees go first. A dead tree in a storm is a guaranteed problem.
- Thin dense canopies. Crown thinning reduces wind resistance and lowers the chance of windthrow.
We offer free storm preparedness assessments. We’ll walk your property and identify the highest-risk trees before the weather does it for you.
Frequently Asked Questions
How fast can you respond?
For true emergencies (tree on house, safety hazard, blocked access), we aim for same-day response. During major storm events when everyone is calling, we triage by severity — life safety first, then structure damage, then access.
Do you charge more for emergency calls?
Emergency rates are higher than scheduled work — nights, weekends, and the urgency factor. But we’re transparent about pricing. We won’t gouge you during a storm.
Should I try to cut the tree myself?
No. Storm-damaged trees are under tension in unpredictable ways. A tree that looks stable can shift, roll, or spring when you cut into it. Chainsaws and tension are a dangerous combination. Please call a professional.
The storm knocked over my fence/shed too. Can you handle that?
We handle the tree and debris. For structural repairs, we can refer you to trusted contractors in the area.
